A former Midland, Michigan man has been charged in the death of actor Matthew Perry.

Kenneth Iwamasa, 59, graduated from Herbert Henry Dow High School in Midland in 1982. He is one of five people who were recently charged on Thursday, August 15, 2024.

According to the Detroit Free Press, Kenneth Iwamasa injected Matthew Perry with ketamine on several occasions. Chances are you have already seen Iwamasa in the news, he was Perry's live-in personal assistant.

On Wednesday, August 7th, 2024, Kenneth Iwamasa pleaded guilty to distributing ketamine causing death. Perry died on October 28th, 2023. The 'Freinds' star was found alone in his jacuzzi in Los Angeles.

Kenneth Iwamasa reportedly injected Matthew Perry with six to eight shots of ketamine a day leading up to Perry's passing. It should be pointed out, that Iwamasa has no medical training and is now facing up to 15 years in prison.
