Another snow storm is heading our way in Michigan. In true Michigan fashion, we were treated to some great weather last week with temperatures in some areas reaching 60 degrees in February. Now just one week later, the state will be smacked in the face with more snow.

Check out what some of the major cities in Michigan are in for below. The following predictions are from The Weather Channel at 9:30 am on Wednesday, February 14, 2024. As with all weather in Michigan, things could change quickly.

Flint - Saginaw

Flint and Saginaw will see the snow begin to fly around 7 am on Thursday morning (2/15/24) with possible accumulations of 3 to 5 inches. The snow will then turn to rain around noon before the storm ends.

Port Huron

The Port Huron area won't see as much snow as Flint and Saginaw, but will still end up with 1 to 3 inches tomorrow morning. Snow will begin in the morning then mix with rain by the afternoon.

Detroit

The Detroit area will dodge most of the snow with a mix of rain and snow Thursday morning resulting in less than an inch of accumulation. However, sleet and freezing rain are possible.

Grand Rapids

Grand Rapids will possibly see 1 to 3 inches of snow tomorrow morning which will then give way to cloudy skies in the afternoon.

Traverse City

Traverse City will see snow developing overnight and continuing into Thursday morning with only 1 to 3 inches of accumulations expected.
