Most of us have had to endure some sort of mandatory HR session and more or less know where to draw the line when it comes to saying inappropriate things at work.

Acceptable:  That's a really nice dress.

Questionable:  Damn, you look fine in that dress.

Unacceptable:  Who let the lemon head into the room? You are a waste of life and you should give up. (Credit goes to Michael Scott on 'The Office' for that little gem.)

Fox 2 Detroit Anchors Mock HR Training

Sure, the Human Resources department takes this stuff seriously, but what good is sensitivity training if you don't figure out exactly where the lines are drawn - and maybe have a little fun in the process?

That's exactly what the anchors of Fox 2 Detroit's 'The Nine' did, in order to, um, demonstrate that they'd paid attention during the 90-minute HR training session.

One of the morning show's hosts Ryan Ermanni noted to his cohorts that he was going to be "very professional," trying not to comment on anyone's looks, after just completing the training.

That was all hosts Maurielle Lue and Deena Centofanti needed, baiting Ermanni with questions about what he liked about their wardrobe.

"But you do like this dress?" Lue questioned, following up with a query about what exactly the male anchor liked about her attire.

Ermanni notes that he liked the color of the dress, before launching into some examples of what he "cannot say" in order to stay perfectly compliant with the station's HR policies.

But on Serious Note -

It's obvious in the video below that the three coworkers get along well and can interact playfully without crossing any lines.

And while we're enjoying a laugh at Detroit news anchors poking fun at their HR department's policies, we're mindful that it's never acceptable to make any coworker feel uncomfortable or exploited.
