Cali, we're comin' for ya, and we're bringing the wine country experience with us.

Michiganders know we have some of the most beautiful wine country in the world, with some of the best wineries to be found. Along with those come some stunning accommodations to entice any wine lover.  Now it seems, USA Today agrees with what we already know, and so do its readers.

Voting is underway to find USA Today's 10Best Wine Country Hotels and this year, not one, but two of Michigan's finest are in the running to make the list. A panel of experts has narrowed it down to 20 hotels and inns that "provide a perfect place to relax over a glass of wine after a day of touring and tasting in wine regions around the country". Now, it's up to USA Today's readers to pick the very best.

It's pretty impressive to have 2 Michigan hotels up for consideration considering the company they're keeping. Of the twenty in the running, 15 are located in California. Although Cali is usually the first to come to mind when it comes to wine country, Michigan is holding its own and making a name.
