Across the country this time of year skating enthusiasts are strapping on the skates at some of the absolute best skating rinks from coast to coast. Whether a novice or expert in a perfect camel spin, everyone loves some time on the ice.

USA Today took on the task of searching out the best of the best when it comes to skating rinks in the country. As part of their annual 10Best List, USA released the final list of the "10 Best Ice Skating Rink the U.S.".

"These 10 ice skating rinks have been nominated by an expert panel and voted by readers as the best in the country for providing superior ice skating experiences. From nostalgic outdoor rinks to venues with Olympic history, each one offers something special", they wrote.

What Michigan Skating RInk is Ranked the Best in America?

Proving that little Bavaria has more to offer than just chicken and Christmas decorations, The Frankenmuth Ice Rink landed not only on the list of the 10 best rinks in the nation but secured the #4 spot. Here's what USA Today had to say;

"Located in the charming town of Frankenmuth, also known as Michigan's Little Bavaria, the Frankenmuth Ice Rink is an outdoor skating rink located in Zehnder Park in the middle of downtown. Open throughout the winter season, the rink offers rentals and day-long admission".
