Outside of the Midwest, there's not a lot of love for Euchre. The card game is often a family favorite in Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. (These six states are casually known as the 'Euchre Belt.')

 

While the game has always seemingly been a Michigan favorite, its popularity appears to be waning as of late. There's a theory that while the game has been a staple with previous generations, some families may not be passing their Euchre passion on to Millennials and Gen Z.
