Chick-fil-A Settles Class Action Lawsuit

Chick-fil-A agreed to pay customers a combined $4.4 million! The federal lawsuit was filed in the state of Georgia earlier this month.

The lawsuit claimed that the fast food chain took advantage of its customers by giving low-cost delivery but increased the actual food price.

According to Insider, the food items were increased by 25 to 30 percent.

While Chick-fil-A is paying out the settlement with a $1.45 million cash fund and a $2.95 million gift card fund, in the settlement, they shared they will not be accepting fault.

“Plaintiffs allege that by omitting, concealing, and misrepresenting material facts about CFA’s delivery service, CFA deceives consumers into making online food purchases they otherwise would not make."
