1. Birmingham

With a per capita income of roughly $95,000, Property Club states that this Detroit suburb is the richest city in Michigan.

"With a per capita income of about $95,000 and average home prices of $650,000, the richest city in Michigan is Birmingham. This lively, family-friendly city is a Detroit suburb and sits about thirty minutes from downtown. 2. Grosse Pointe Farms

Another Detroit suburb was added to the list. According to this list, Grosse Pointe Farms is a popular choice for young families.
