I figured the Kiss show scheduled for tomorrow night at DTE Energy Music Theatre would be postponed due to Paul Stanley testing positive for COVID, now unfortunately Gene Simmons has tested positive too.

The bands scheduled show for tomorrow night, Wednesday, September 1st has officially been postponed. I know there will be a lot of disappointed fans, but the show will go on - just another day.

The official statement from Kiss reads as follows,

Rock & Roll Hall of Fame band KISS will postpone their next four tour dates. While Paul Stanley recently tweeted that he has recovered from COVID, Gene Simmons has now tested positive and is experiencing mild symptoms. The band and crew will remain at home and isolate for the next 10 days and doctors have indicated the tour should be able to resume on September 9th at FivePoint Amphitheatre in Irvine, CA. All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new dates once announced. More information will be emailed to ticket holders directly.

If you have tickets for the DTE - hang on to them. Your ticket(s) will of course be honored on a later date, that has yet to be announced. I know it sucks, but what is most important is that Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley get better.
