Kroger to Hire 500 People in Michigan This Weekend

The Kroger company is holding a job fair this weekend with the hopes of hiring 500 people with 300 more jobs soon to become available. So, if you know someone looking for a job, help spread the word. They hope to have the 800 jobs filled by the end of the year.

You can apply on the Kroger website by clicking here. Then, you can visit any store Friday and Saturday from 11 AM to 6 PM for an interview.

Kroger held a hiring event like this last year. Pay for those jobs ranged from $9.25 to $11 per hour.

With 120 stores and 78 gas stations, 102 pharmacies, 78 gas stations and a dairy in Michigan, Kroger employs around 19 thousand people. They announced in May they are pouring nearly 100 million dollars into Michigan. Click here to see that. Later this year, new Kroger stores are expanding to Warren and Sterling Heights. Plus, 11 stores in Michigan are getting a new look with renovations.
