Lansing Area Fire Ban – Could See Ban on Personal Fireworks This Weekend

WLNS TV 6 reports that due to the very dry conditions, a ban is in place for recreational fires and brush burning due to the "very high fire danger". Even if you've been issued an open brush burning permit, consider it suspended until we get some rain.

Lansing and Lansing Township say that this does not apply to grilling - just fires.
