WILX.com reports that the Lansing City Council will vote on an ordinance that looks to squash out illegal gambling within the city limits.

On Monday, the council will vote to approve or disapprove an ordinance that sets both criminal and civil penalties for illegal gambling operations. This would ban all games played for money, not licensed by the state, including bingo, computer based gaming, and card games.

However, the ordinance wouldn't affect some already established operations. For full details, visit this link to WILX.com
