WLNS.com reports that the Lansing City Council will discuss the local opioid crisis this Monday. And, if a resolution is passed by council, city attorneys may be urged to sue pharmaceutical companies for liability.

If the proposed resolution is passed, it may open the door for the city to seek legal action that would require pharmaceutical companies to fund and fight a problem that officials say has already cost Lansing more than $850,000 in the past three years alone.
