WILX.com reports that the Lansing Park Board has delayed their decision to put the future of Lansing City Market into the hands of city voters.

Despite support from the Lansing Planning Board for Mayor Andy Schor's plan to put a possible sale of Lansing City Market on the ballot this year, Lansing Park Board members want to hear from the public first.

If the question were to end up on the ballot this November, both the Park Board and Planning Board have to agree. Then, Lansing City Council must approve the request by August 13.
