WILX.com reports that an area known for its tricks, johns, and needles may be getting as face lift as soon as next year. Lansing officials have announced that an abandoned warehouse along Hosmer Street at Kalamazoo Street is due to get a $2.9 million improvement.

A proposal to turn the warehouse into a revamped storage facility is reportedly set to be presented officially to the city early next week. If approved, work would start in Spring 2017 and be ready by year's end.
