Lansing Icon Jerry Horrocks Passes

The Lansing State Journal reported today that Jerry Horrocks, who built the Horrocks store on West Saginaw in Lansing from the success of his stand in the Lansing City Market, died Monday at the age of 91.

It was always sweet to see Mr. Horrocks greeting customers among the aisles of the store he obviously loved and so nice to be handed a flower and a compliment from him.
