The Lansing State Journal reports that twenty one year old Rachel Lynn Curtis, 2014 graduate of Waverly High School, will appear Sunday in front of "American Idol" judges Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan.

Last June, Curtis auditioned for the show in Chicago and made the cut, then in October she got to perform her audition in front of the judges in Nashville.

You can see the Delta Township native on WLAJ TV 53 this Sunday evening, March 11, 2018 on "American Idol" - show starts at 8:00 PM.

You may have heard Curtis perform in Greater Lansing, or elsewhere around the state.

Curtis gives mom, Judy Curtis, credit for supporting and encouraging her to pursue her dream and hone her talent.

Best of luck to Rachel Curtis as she pursues the journey of her following her dreams!
