Alaska has a rich history of brewing. From the explorers of the 1700s through the Gold Rush, many a thirsty Alaskan has been able to enjoy locally made beers. In 1986, 28-year-olds Marcy and Geoff Larson reignited that tradition when they opened the Alaskan Brewing Company, the 67th brewery in the country and the first brewery in Juneau since Prohibition. Alaskan beers reflect many of the same characteristics of beers that were brewed here during the gold rush era. From the historically based Alaskan Amber recipe to alder-smoked malts and Sitka spruce tips, Alaskan beers reflect Juneau's local brewing history and innovation.

Established in 1996 as a microbrewery specializing in handcrafted British-style ales, all of Arcadia's beers are produced in small batches, and its 25 Barrel Peter Austin Brewery and methods originated in England, which allows this style of beer to reflect over 250 years of world class brewing heritage.

Located in Detroit’s historic Rivertown district, and housed in a 1919 factory warehouse, Atwater Brewery was founded in March of 1997 with the purpose of carrying on the rich history of breweries in Detroit. Our brewing process, however, is over 200 years old.

At Blue Moon Brewing Company®, we believe brewing is an art. And it’s been that way since our head brewmaster and founder, Keith Villa, first created Blue Moon® Belgian White Belgian-Style Wheat Ale back in 1995 in downtown Denver, Colorado.

In 1979 two professors at the University of Colorado received the 43rd brewing license issued in the United States, creating Boulder Beer Company, Colorado’s First Microbrewery.

Its award-winning roster of year-round, seasonal and specialty beers have gained the Brewery notoriety as one of the top craft beer producers in the world.

Back in 2009 a few of us craft beer enthusiasts and history buffs from Cheboygan shared an idea. We dreamed of reestablishing a proud local brewery, one out of production since the wave of prohibition captured northern Michigan like it did the rest of the country. We imagined brewing fabulous beers that respected the heritage of the original recipes and brought time honored brewing techniques and a few brewmaster secrets to the table. We focused on the water. We went after taste.

CBC has come a long way over the past 17 years, but through it all, has remained an operation astutely focused on hometown pride and respect for the art of crafting quality beer.

Dark Horse Brewery began as a restaurant owned by Bill Morse. Aaron Morse, son of Bill Morse and current owner, suggested a redesign of the restaurant into a brewpub. The brewpub opened on 826 West Michigan Avenue in Marshall, Michigan and was later moved to its current location on South Kalamazoo Road in 2000, after Aaron Morse turned his brewpub license into a microbrewery license in 1998. ark Horse brews a variety of beers and beer styles, including the Crooked Tree India Pale Ale, Amber Ale, Raspberry Ale, Sapient Trip Ale, Boffo Brown Beer, and Black Bier. Several seasonal and experimental brews are also produced. Dark Horse puts out a significant amount of beer for their tank size but are still able to hand-fold and stock every six-pack produced.

Deschutes is a craft brewery founded in 1988 in Bend, Oregon. The company produces a range of beers which it currently distributes to 21 states.

Flying Monkeys will strive to be known as an authentic company that always adds originality to the evolving beerscape of Canadian craft brewing. We will be authentic, original and innovative.

Frankenmuth's founding fathers brought the tradition of brewing to the mid-Michigan forests in 1845. John Matthias Falliers founded Frankenmuth' first brewery in 1857. Cousins William Knaust and Martin Heubisch opened the Cass River Brewery just north of the Fallier property in 1862, where the Frankenmuth Brewery continues to stand today.

Our brewery was built in 1995 and has more than doubled in size since originally built. We bring you our tasty pints using 32 fermenters, over 15 different yeasts, state-of-the-art filters, centrifuges and a 50 barrel JV Northwest 5 vessel system that brews 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It turns out that making awesome brews is quite the science. Luckily our brewery facilities have all the equipment necessary to deliver results.

The first brewpub and microbrewery in Ohio, Great Lakes Brewing Co. brews in accordance with the Bavarian Purity Law of 1516. The company was established in 1988 by brothers Patrick and Daniel Conway in Cleveland's Ohio City neighborhood, across the street from St. Ignatius High School and the West Side Market. The brewpub and restaurant remain in their original locations, while production has expanded to adjacent properties.

Great Lakes' products are heavily distributed in Cleveland and Northeast Ohio. They can be found in Columbus, Detroit, Chicago, Southeast Michigan, Indiana, and west to Minnesota, south to North Carolina and east to Syracuse, NY, Pennsylvania, and Washington, D.C.

From humble beginnings came true enlightenment. Mike and Lisa Hinkley established Green Flash Brewing Co. in 2002.  Today, they lead a talented team of like-minded craft beer enthusiasts, who embrace the Green Flash culture and brand vision with passion and zeal. Every batch of beer is a labor of love and is a true Green Flash collaboration.

nnis & Gunn craft beer was discovered by accident but born by design

Founded  in Chippewa Falls, WI, in May 1867 by Jacob Leinenkugel. A family man driven by an iron work ethic, Jacob knew that his family heritage would play an integral part of his brewery's success. Today, the fifth generation of Leinenkugel's® continue to brew the same family inspired recipes that Jacob poured his heart and soul into. Over the years, the family has grown and so has the brewery, but its history and heritage remain at the forefront.

In 1996 Mountain Town Station Brewing Co. & Steakhouse opened its doors as a premier restaurant, wine cellar and micro brewery; and has grown ever since in its menu concept, wine inventory and beer recipes. In 2007, a separate company was formed called Mountain Town Brewing Company. This new brewery operation is strictly manufacturing and packaging using the same recipes that have been successfully developed for years at the brewpub. In 2008, shipments of beers such as the Gamblers Golden Ale, Railyard Raspberry Wheat and Cow Catcher Red Ale were flying out of the brewery and into restaurants and bars across Michigan.

Paw Paw Brewing Company was established in early 2010 by brother-in-laws Ben Fleckestein and Ryan Sylvester, placed in the small village of Paw Paw on the banks of the Paw Paw River surrounded by beautiful Wilderness. The idea behind Paw Paw Brewing Company was to create a place where the community could gather and connect with one another over a pint of locally hand crafted beer. In early December 2010 the door opened for business with four beers on tap, St. James English Mild, Black River Oatmeal Stout, Paw Paw Wheat and 2Paws IPA.

Open since 2012, Perrin Brewing Company offers innovative craft beer that appeals to both microbrew enthusiasts and light-beer drinkers.

Right Brain Brewery is an up-and-coming brewery nestled in the SoFo District of downtown Traverse City focusing on creating artisanally made, one-of-a-kind culinary-inspired brews. If you taste something in its beers, like Asparagus, Cherry Pies, or Real Pig, it's because the brewery put it there using only whole natural ingredients.

It may sound hard to believe, but when you spend 22 years crafting cider it becomes more than just a job.  We like to think of ourselves as modern day craftsmen, and we believe in what we do.  So while most of our bigger competitors spend a lot of time and money on all of the things that go on outside their bottles (advertisements, promotions, Clydesdales) the hundred or so of us here in Middlebury will just keep focusing on what goes on inside our bottles.
