Lansing Restaurant Closes Doors (For Now) and Facebook Group
The Lansing State Journal is reporting that the Mr. Taco restaurant on South Martin Luther King Boulevard has been closed for more than a week. It's popular and controversial Facebook page is now also a closed group.
According to the report, the social media group for Mr. Taco has more than 13,000 followers. But, the page has opened the door to praise and criticism. Many local Facebook users have been critical of the Mr. Taco group after being banned from posting on the page by its administrator(s). Many of those folks, though, have been booted after firing negative words about the restaurant's inconsistencies.
LSJ offered up some clarity from Mr. Taco owner Bill Bonifiglo. He says that his restaurant will indeed reopen once he finds employees and managers that will help him sustain expanded and regular hours, catering, and more. As to when that may happen, Bonofiglo did not specify.
