Our family made our first trip to the orchard and pumpkin patch last weekend and it was a lot of fun.

Peek-a-Boo Kitten - Family Class 

October 6 from 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm at Wine and Canvas – Lansing. Find them at 580 Frandor Avenue, Lansing MI 48912. You can look forward to:

Join us at our studio for step-by-step instructions on how to recreate this beautiful painting while you sip on your favorite beverage, in a relaxed and fun, artsy environment. Ticket price includes use of all necessary paint supplies and aprons, instruction by a professional and friendly local artist, and a 11x14 gallery wrapped, take-home canvas! Open to all ages! Our studio has Wine, Beer, and Cocktails along with Water and Soda for purchase. Snacks are also available.

 

Haunted History of Williamston: Public Walking Tour & Ghost Hunt

Have you heard about Williamston and the haunted history? Get out on October 6th for some scares and screams.

Join us Friday, October 6 for an exclusive Haunted History walking tour & ghost hunt event in historic Williamston, Michigan!You'll hear behind-the-scenes, never-before-told stories about our investigations in the city; then, you'll literally walk through history before joining us on a hands-on public ghost hunt. The tour will run from 7-8:30pm, and will be approximately 1.5 miles of walking.

 

Jack O' Lanterns Unleashed

This event is back for it's third year in Mason! It takes place at the Ingham County Fairgrounds. You can find the Ingham County Fairgrounds and Exposition Center700 E Ash St, Mason, MI 48854. It's taking place this weekend!

Jack O' Lanterns Unleashed is back for the 3rd year! Take a journey down Jack O' Lantern Lane with 5,000 hand carved pumpkins! We have over 30 different scenes, plus new scenes and themes this year!

This event is this Saturday, October 7th from 1:00am - 6:00pm at Impression 5 Science Center, 200 Museum Dr, Lansing, MI 48933.

We are excited to announce a reimagined festival experience with a completely new format and pricing. How-To Halloween is now an OUTDOOR festival and is FREE to the public! The main event will be happening outside of Impression 5 Science Center, and all ages are welcome to walk right up and join in the fun.

The FREE outdoor festivities include:

• Robot Demonstrations
• Trick-or-Treating
• Live Entertainment
• Make-n-Takes
• Creative Vendors
• Character Meet-&-Greets
• Costume Contests and more

The festival also features special programming inside Impression 5 Science Center, and regular admission fees will still apply to enter.

Dog Halloween Party

This happens this Saturday, Oct 7th from 12:00pm - 3:00pm at Reo Town Marketplace1027 S Washington Ave, Lansing, MI 48910.

There are so many activities & great vendors:
- A spooky themed photo booth.
- Bobbing for tennis balls.
- Paw Print Craft.
- The Barkery (a bake sale hosted by our foster parents.)
- Dress your pups up in costumes.
- Pup-Kin Pies! (Mini Pumpkin pies specifically for dogs to enjoy).

We are encouraging a $10 donation per dog at entry to help raise funds for Happy Feet Pet Rescue.
