Madre London Announces He’s Transferring From Michigan State
Running back Madre London announced Friday via Twitter his plans to transfer from Michigan State.
He had played the spell-back role for three years behind the Spartans' top runner LJ Scott, who announced after MSU's bowl win over Washington State that he will return to East Lansing next season instead of departing early for the NFL.
London played in 12 games this past season, his redshirt junior year, for MSU. He carried the ball 83 times for 304 yards (a 3.7 yards-per-carry average) and three touchdowns. He also caught nine balls for 62 yards and a touchdown.
He finishes his three-year Spartan career with 230 carries for 924 yards (a 4.0 yards-per-carry average) and eight touchdowns. London also caught 13 passes for 100 yards and one touchdown in his three years.
