Major Hyundai Recall Affects Nearly A Million Cars
WLNS.com is reporting a major recall for automaker Hyundai. The company will fix a defect that affects 978,000 of the automaker's popular Sonata sedan.
It's being reported that seat belts may come detached in an accident. There has been one reported incident of this defect resulting in one minor injury in September 2016. The car involved was a 2013 Hyundai Sonata.
The recall covers Sonata sedan models produced in 2011-2014 and Sonata hybrids made from 2011-2015. Hyundai will be contacting owners beginning in April.
