Season Outlook:
Maple Valley says they are striving for the playoffs this year, something the program has not seen since 2005. A win over Leslie last season broke a 15-game losing streak and really seemed to give the Lions a lot of motivation to finish the year strong, including a thrilling homecoming win over Perry. After a winless season in 2015 and two wins in 2016, the Lions are trending upwards heading into 2017. Will that upward trend vault them into the playoffs playing in a competitive GLAC though?
