MLive.com is reporting that Meijer will institute policy changes in its stores to further prevent the spread of coronavirus.

Beginning Saturday, April 4, Meijer will be asking customers to reduce and limit t

he number of shoppers per party, per trip to stores. Store officials will also begin to monitor and limit the number of customers are in each store at one time. No details on capacity limits and enforcement were reported.

Additionally, Meijer will temporarily suspend weekly sales advertisements beginning on April 12 to decrease the amount of customers in stores. Signs and announcements will be seen and heard in stores promoting social distancing. Employees will be given daily health screenings, including temperature checks, upon arrival for work. And, plexiglass shields will be installed at all check out lanes and pharmacies.
