Michigan Department of Transportation Wants Public Input on I-94 Plans
The Michigan Department of Transportation is ready to perform a major overhaul on one of Mid-Michigan's most traveled highways.
WILX.com reports that MDOT seeks public input on its proposed plans to improve a major Mid-Michigan traffic corridor. I-94 through Jackson County has long been a dangerous route for travelers and local residents who use the highway.
MDOT has plans to improve a nine mile stretch of freeway between M-60 and Sargent Road in Jackson County. They will share those plans and take public input during what is called a "open house style meeting" on Monday, June 11 from 1:30 PM to 7:00 PM.
There will be two public demonstrations given at 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM with public input welcome following both. For more details, visit this link to WILX.com.
