Michigan DNR Set To Open Miles of State Forest Roads To ATV’s
According to WLNS.com, the Michigan Department of Natural Resources is about to open access to thousands of miles of state forest roads to ATV users. But, it's looking for public comment for another week for those for or against the plan.
A law enacted in 2016 allowed for all state forest roads to be opened to off-road vehicles, except for those deemed closed for safety and environmental issues. That's where the public comment comes into play.
