A former state lawmaker made a rare find, photographing a three-antler deer in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.

Steve Lindberg, who regularly shares nature photos online, posted the picture on his Facebook page.

Lake view Veterinarian Steve Edwards says the deer is normal and healthy and that something probably happened before birth when the deer was an embryo. He notes that a deer with three antlers is probably a "one-in-a-million thing."
