Michigan Lottery Rakes in Record $$$ for State Schools

It was a Ticket Window Tuesday here on WMMQ today, where we gave away five packs of the '$5 Bingo Plus' instant tickets from the Michigan Lottery.

The ticket pictured above is the one I picked up Sunday morning at the grocery store and I'm not showing you my numbers because then we'd have to share the $359,000,000-ish jackpot.

Turns out the huge Powerball jackpotsand 'scratcher' sales garnered a record $888.9 million dollars for Michigan's School Aid Fund for the 2016 fiscal year. The Detroit News has more on the story here.
