Michigan Muscle-Car Experts Needed To Solve This Mystery

The new Batmobile has been introduced in some low-light photos shared by the movie's director, Matt Reeves. The movie, The Batman, starring Robert Pattinson (yeah, the vampire guy) as the new Batman, is scheduled to be in theaters NEXT June 25, 2021. So, we have about 15 months to figure this out.

The new Batmobile. What is it? It looks like some sort of American muscle car. To me, it looks like a Corvette from the rear with a Challenger front end.

According to Yahoo, The Batman is supposed to be the story of Batman in his second year of fighting crime in Gotham City, so this is obviously before he decided to use the custom-made "tank-cars" he drives around these days. Some who have seen the photos are excited about the return to a more classic look for the Batmobile. Others mock the idea of the Batmobile having working brake lights and turn signals.

Like Batman would use those. Alfred, his butler, would have those signals on continuously, but not Batman.
