Michigan Town Is One of Top 5 Most Tattooed Cities In U.S.
Tattoos are awesome. I love the look of art on skin. Michigan residents have a lot of tattoos, did you know that a city in Michigan is ranked in the top 5 of cities in the United States with the most ink?
Tattoos have gotten more popular over time. Tattoos are mainstream nowadays and according to Authority Tattoo the numbers are growing:
30% of all Americans, regardless of age, have at least one tattoo. In a similar survey in 2012, only 21% of Americans had a tattoo.
When it comes to age, folks diving into body art vary. Authority Tattoo backs that up:
40% of those under the age of 35 had at least one tattoo, according to the survey. This data proves that tattoos are much more trendy among younger Americans. Though they don’t flaunt them as much, perhaps, the older generation also have tattoos. 36% of those between 35 and 54 had at least one piece of body art. However, over the age of 54, the numbers drop off. Only 16% of Americans over that age have a tattoo.
I know what you are thinking, it's time to take grandma to get her tattoo. Ink therapy is a good thing. Getting a tattoo isn't painful for me. Pain will depend on the one in the chair. They say, there's pleasure in pain. Maybe you could get some ink and help put Lansing on the map.

Better yet, it's in the top 5. Well done! If you've been thinking about getting some ink, don't think too long. We live TODAY.
