Yesterday a US District judge cleared the way for Michigan voters to take selfies with our completed ballots in the Nov. 8 election. The Judge called the state's existing ban a free-speech violation in the era of phone cameras, social media and instant online posting.

The case against Secretary of State Rush Johnson was filed in September by Joel Crookston of west Michigan. WOOD TV 8 in Grand Rapids has a break-down here of all the details, as well as a link to the legalese ruling, which is a bit dry, but interesting.
