Michigan Deer Trackers for 2022

The Michigan Deer Tracking Association maintains a list of trackers for the entire state. These trackers and their dogs help hunters find lost deer after being wounded.

When should I call a tracker when I hit a deer?

According to the MDTA, you can call as soon as you make the shot:

You can call as soon as you make the shot! If you think your shot was marginal, give us a call or text before you look for blood. We can give you tips and pointers which will increase your chances of finding your deer, or advise you to have a dog out to help.

How do I find a Deer Tracker in Michigan?
