WILX.com reports that Chronic Wasting Disease has been found within another deer in the Tri-County region.

According to the report, a young buck in Eaton County has tested positive for CWD. This report is on top of another report of a deer found with the disease in Gratiot County this week.

For hunters, there are several Deer Check Stations available across Michigan, hosted by the Michigan Department of Natural resources, to ensure that all venison harvested is disease free.

But, the report states that Deer Check Station participation is very low in Gratiot, Isabella, Jackson, and Kent Counties.
