Jim Harbaugh, miraculously still the Head Coach at Michigan, has hired a new running backs coach to replace his son, Jay. It's a name Spartan and Wolverine fans will easily identify: Former Wolverine running back Mike Hart.

Michigan State sure got a lot of mileage from Mike Hart. His "little Brother" comments back in 2007 motivated MSU and Coach Dantonio to harness control of the rivalry for a few years. It's been played so much but in case you haven't don't remember. The Wolverines had won 6 straight games vs the Spartans when he said these famous words.

Keep in mind, the Wolverines NEVER lost a football game with Hart on the sideline as a player. He left Michigan in 2007 as the all-time leading rusher in the history of the University. Denard Robinson is second by the way. Jamie Morris is 3rd.

The school's former all-time leading rusher Jamie Morris made the announcement.

Mike Hart had been the assistant coach for Tom Allen in Indiana. He is a good recruiter and this will surely hurt the Hoosiers and help the Wolverines. He replaces Jay Harbaugh, who will focus primarily on special teams.
