Zach Randolph and Deyonta Davis have been the only one-and-done players to be drafted under Tom Izzo at Michigan State, and if Miles Bridges' father is to be believed it will stay that way when the 2016-17 season is done.

Raymond Bridges, Miles' father, speaking with WLNS in Lansing on Sunday said "I think he [Miles] needs another good year" and when asked if he thinks his son will be back at MSU he gave a short and sweet "yeah".

Skip to the 1:50 mark in the video above to see Raymond's comments about his son.

Papa Bridges also thinks MSU needs to bring in some big men so they can "get him [Miles] out on that wing". He mentioned how Bridges has been going against guys who are seven feet tall despite being listed at only 6'7".

Luckily for Raymond and Spartan fans, Michigan State's 2017 recruiting class includes some big men. 247Sports reports that Michigan State has commitments from two top power forwards in the country, 6'10" Jaren Jackson (La Lumiere, IN; #7 PF) and 6'8" Xavier Tillman (Grand Rapids Christian; #18 PF). 6'10" Brandon McCoy (San Diego, CA; #4 PF) also has taken an official visit to MSU fueling speculation about his commitment. Oregon and Arizona are also considered likely destinations for McCoy.

Those guys combined with any other transfers or new recruits committing to MSU could give the Spartans that size element they have been missing all season long, and if Bridges does come back (like his father thinks) this Spartan basketball team could be a force in 2017-18.
