Michigan State University senior Josh Butler has a lot to celebrate - he took the field for the last time this past weekend to play cornerback for the Spartans. And while the rest of the seniors walked onto the field with their families, he went without - both of his parents died during his college football career.

His dad died of a heart attack in 2017, and his mom died of breast cancer a year-and-a-half later.

So, on senior day, he brought his dogs Roxy and Remi on to the field with him.

His parents didn't live to see him graduate, but he still has the love of his dogs. And they have their own Instagram account, too.
