WILX.com reports that discount retail chain Family Dollar is about to lose nearly 600 stores to closure and rebranding.

According to the report, Dollar Tree Inc., the parent company of Family Dollar, plans to shutter up to 390 Family Dollar stores, and rebrand another 200 as Dollar Tree. This comes on the heels of the company closing 84 locations last year.

Dollar Tree purchased Family Dollar in 2015. The report says that the expected boost in business was negatively impacted by the poor condition of many Family Dollar outlets. The company plans to renovate around 1,000 stores. Dollar Tree stores may also expand inventory, selling products at a discounted price, but, that are more than $1.

Dollar Tree has not yet announced which locations will close.
