The fast food giant McDonald's is going to be testing out the waters for a meatless burger.

If you live in Ontario, Canada or want to make a quick trip to Canada, then this may be your chance to test out the meatless burger.

Twenty-eight resturants will carry the new meatless burger, nicknamed the "PLT" for roughly 12 weeks in Ontario. The P-L-T stands for Plant-Lettuce-and-Tomato burger.

This new test comes after Burger King had began to test their 'Impossible Burgers,' roughly six months ago.

If Canada takes to the test trial, then maybe Michigan can get a hardy taste of the PLT.
