New Samuel Adams Beer Illegal In 15 States, Not Michigan
According to a report from WLNS.com, The Boston Beer Company is set to release a new beer Tuesday, April 15 that is illegal in 15 states.
That's because the new Samuel Adams Utopias is 28% alcohol by volume. Only 100 casks of the rare brew are being produced and released for sale...at a whopping $210 per bottle.
As a result, only select locations will have the Utopias collection available. Though the beer is not illegal in Michigan, it isn't clear if any Michigan retailers, bars, or establishments will carry the limited brew.
