For years, you have been able to get a hot dog and a drink at the Costco Food Court for a buck fifty.

And their pizza is so popular, Costco is considered the 14th largest pizza chain in the country. It's technically bigger than California Pizza Kitchen and nearly as large as CiCi's. (Business Insider)

And you didn't have to be a member to take advantage of that deal.

Come March 16th, that's all gonna change.

"Effective March 16, 2020, an active Costco membership card will be required to purchase items from our food court," the sign reads. "You can join today. Please see our membership counter for details." (Delish)

Costco says buying items from the food court has always required a membership, but the policy hasn’t been enforced. (KTLA)

No word yet if this affects the other things you can do at Costco without a membership, but check back for updates.
