No Memorial Day Parade in Lansing

MLive is reporting that there will not be a Memorial Day parade in downtown Lansing this year, due to a lack of interest.  Apparently only six groups were signed up to take part in the parade, down from seventeen last year.  Click here for more details.

However, there will be an expanded ceremony and formal procession at Evergreen Cemetery in Lansing Saturday May 24th to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice in serving our nation.
