Oakland County Woman Spins Big and Wins $1 Million
An Oakland County woman stepped up to the big wheel and walked away with a cool $1 million on the Michigan Lottery's 'Big Spin' show.
Karen Finger of Farmington Hills said she felt like her heart had stopped beating when she won the $1 million prize on Monday night's show.
That Wheel Just Keeps Spinning and Spinning
If you've ever watched the Michigan Lottery's 'Big Spin' show hosted by Detroit basketball champ Joh Salley, you've probably noticed that there's little resistance when players spin the wheel - it just keeps going and going, not unlike the Energizer Bunny.
“When I spun the wheel, it felt like it was spinning forever," Finger said. "Once it finally landed on $1 million, it felt like my heart stopped beating. It was the most unbelievable feeling I have ever experienced!"
Karen and her husband Jeffrey Finger appeared on the Michigan Lottery's 'Big Spin' show last night (4/10), airing locally during 'Wheel of Fortune' on WNEM-TV 5.
Finger was selected to appear on the 'Big Spin' show after submitting codes from non-winning Big Spin instant tickets online.
“I was in complete disbelief when I got the call from the Lottery informing me that I was chosen as a The Big Spin contestant,” said Finger. “It took a while for it to sink in that the call was real and that I was going to be on The Big Spin show.
