Pants Down in Dallas: First Taste of Chick-fil-A

Another Dallas first for me. Tuesday in Dallas (12/29), my friends Darrell and Sara WIles were talking about Chick-fil-A. I asked Darrell on the air, "What was the first thing you did when you got to Texas?" Without hesitation, he said "went to Chick-fil-A."

Later over drinks, we were talking Chick-fil-A with MSU Band announcer Peter Clay and his wife Christie. Christie said she was addicted to their lemonade. The Clays lived in North Carolina for a while and the Wiles family lived in Tennessee. Stomping grounds for Chick-fil-A. Sara said she loved the honey mustard sauce on her patty.

So, I had my first Chick-fil-A and when I took my first bite, I didn't see what the fuss was all about. Then, I added the honey mustard sauce and OMG, the lightbulb went off. The waffle fries were ok and I didn't try the lemonade but we'll all have our chance soon as Chick-fil-A comes to North Lansing and Okemos.
