Pennsylvania Avenue To Completely Close In Lansing For Weekend

The City of Lansing issued a press release stating that crews will close both northbound and southbound lanes of Pennsylvania Avenue in Lansing this weekend to complete a resurfacing project.

The project has been ongoing for about six weeks, but traffic has been maintained in one direction until Friday. The closure will begin Friday, July 6 at 9:00 AM and should be opened by 9:00 aM Monday, July 9. But, the road closure could affect the Monday morning commute.

A posted detour will re-route traffic via Jolly Road, Aurelius Road, and Cavanaugh Road.
