The Pontiac Silverdome, which opened in 1975, will come tumbling down this Sunday. The demo Sunday will take down the upper tier of what's left of the facility so crews can them use machines to remove the remaining rubble.

The venue was home to the Detroit Lions, the Detroit Pistons, Monster Truck shows and countless concerts over the years.

The Detroit Free Press has details here on how you can watch the action 'in-person' if you wish.

Check out the aerial view of what's left of the Silverdome before they set off 300-400 pounds of TNT Sunday.
