The Portland St. Pat's Summerfest is ready to get underway for the weekend. There are all sorts of activities for the whole family planned through Sunday.

Tonight, it is 21 and older only as the beer and wine tent opens at 6:00pm, serving until 10:45pm. The Legal Immigrants out of Grand Rapids are the next up-and-coming, all original band from Michigan. They start the live music at 7:30pm, followed by Freebird, The Lynyrd Skynyrd Tribute Band at 9:00pm. Nick Chase is emceeing the action for the evening.

Then, on Saturday, the event opens up for all ages at 11:00am. A 3-on-3 basketball tournament is going on at 10:00am. Also, a city wide baseball tournament will take place at various fields around Portland.

The beer and wine tent serves 12:00pm until 10:45pm Saturday. Duran Martinez broadcasts live from 4:00pm to 6:00pm, and will stick around to emcee Saturday's live music featuring El Kabong at 6:00pm and Lookin' Back, a tribute to Bob Seger at 9:00pm.

Earlier in the day, Saturday, children's entertainment takes place with the SNOT Chamber Orchestra at 2:00pm, and DJ Dill Pickle at 3:00pm.

Then, on Sunday, a chicken dinner starts at 11:00am. The beer and wine tent will serve drinks from 12:00pm to 3:00pm.
