Fear not! It's not a case of "Hey y'all, watch this!" But something more along the lines of signs that Spring is finally on it's way.

The above is a red-necked grebe. A waterfowl species that is mainly found throughout Canada and on up into the far reaches of Alaska. They are known to migrate at night and sometimes mistake darker patches of land as water.

This particular bird was found in a friends driveway and returned to the river where it was able to once again take off and regain flight.

Today I witnessed a formation of sandhill cranes flying over the WMMQ studios. Another sure sign of Spring!

So fear not friends, Mother Nature will always know more than we will about the seasons and I believe that Spring is about to finally be sprung!
