As first reported by John Ourand of Street & Smith's Sports Business Journal, Sinclair Broadcasting will be selling naming rights to all of its regional sports networks, changing them from Fox Sports to Bally Sports.

This covers Fox Sports Detroit, which is expected to become Bally Sports Detroit before the 2021 Major League Baseball season begins in April.

This is part of a long-expected rebranding of the Fox regional sports networks since Sinclair Broadcasting acquired them several years ago.  As part of the rebranding, Sinclair is shutting down Fox Sports Tennessee and Fox Sports Carolinas.

As far as content on Bally Sports Network.  It is expected that you'll still see Detroit Pistons, Tigers, and Red Wings game like you normally do.  It'll just be under a different brand name.
