Reward Offered in Crossbow Shooting of Cat
The Capital Area Humane Society is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person who used a crossbow to shoot a cat in Eaton County over the weekend. The wounded pet cat was found with an arrow through his chest under a deck on Carlisle Highway between Vermontville and Bellevue. Veterinarians removed the arrow Monday; Kitty is reportedly in serious but stable condition.
If you have any information about the person responsible for this cruel act, please call the Eaton County Sheriff's office at 517-543-3512 or the tip line at 517-543-5433.
Kitty's medical expenses are being funded by the Capital Area Humane Society's 'special care and cruelty' fund. You can contribute to that fund here.
