WILX.com reports that Ingham County Animal Shelter is forced to temporarily close its doors to all business due to a ringworm outbreak in the shelter.

Dogs will not be accepted into the shelter and will not be allowed to leave the shelter until September 25. Cat adoptions and shelter admittance will cease until October 1.

According to the report, three dogs have tested positive and five cats are suspected to be infected.
